Bill Boyd

Bill was born and raised in Arkansas. He attended the University of Arkansas on a football scholarship, where he received a degree in finance. After two years of military service, he entered The Graduate Business School at Washington University, where he received a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

His professional career began in 1959 when he joined a St. Louis based investment firm as a Financial Analyst. For the next 10 years or so he both worked as a Financial Analyst and taught night school courses in Economics and Finance at St. Louis University. He switched from Financial Analyst to Investment Advisor in the early 1970’s and since then has worked as an advisor and done research only for his own clientele.

Bill is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and past President of the St. Louis Society of Financial Analysts. He is also a member and past President of the Washington Lions Club and a member of the University of Arkansas Football Lettermen’s Club. His hobbies are working out at the Washington YMCA, doing investment research, and keeping up with the economic and financial outlook.

He has two sons and five grandchildren. His wife of 40 years passed away in 1998. He now lives in Washington, after having resided in Webster Groves for almost 50 years.
